Hello!

My name is Abi Caskey and my preferred pronouns are she/her. I am currently a graduate student at Dominican University in the MLIS and SLMP programs. I am hoping to graduate in Fall of 2026. I have a bachelor’s degree in photography from John Brown University; a tiny liberal arts college in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. 

 

I am currently working in the youth services department at a public library in the Chicago suburbs. I also substitute at an elementary school (when my busy schedule allows).

As far as hobbies I obviously love reading, but I also love darkroom photography, movies and coffee. I also run, but not because I enjoy it, only because it’s good for me! A couple pet peeves that come to mind are people who don’t put their carts in the cart corrals in parking lots and people who talk on speaker phone in public spaces! (Image Source: self)
