Hello!

My name is Abi Caskey and my preferred pronouns are she/her. I graduated from Dominican University with a Master's of Library and Information Science and an Illinois Professional Educator License with a PK-12 Library Information Specialist Endorsement in the Fall of 2026. Previously I received a Bachelor’ of Science degree in photography from John Brown University; a tiny liberal arts college in Siloam Springs, Arkansas.

I am currently working in the youth services department at a public library in the Chicago suburbs. I also substitute at an elementary school (when my busy schedule allows).

As far as hobbies I obviously love reading, but I also love darkroom photography, movies, and coffee. I also run, but not because I enjoy it, only because it’s good for me! A couple pet peeves of mine are people who don’t put their carts away in parking lots and people who talk on speaker phone in public spaces.
